What awaits you in Fear Me

A suspense, romance, and psychological-horror visual novel by Neesa. You play a gender-neutral video-store clerk whose ordinary life is interrupted by the creepypasta character Jeff the Killer.

01 · ORDINARY

A video store shift that does not stay ordinary

You are minding the register when a stranger walks in and hands back the badge you lost. He already knows your name. He is not leaving.

02 · CHOOSE

Every reply is read on two meters at once

Jeff is paying attention. Some answers raise affection. Some answers raise the chance he stops being patient. Easy Mode marks which answers are safe without spoiling the route.

03 · SURVIVE

Nine endings, all of them earned

The current build ships with 9 distinct endings. Choices affect survival, trust, affection, and which route the story follows, so the game is built for replaying.

04 · END

One week, two extra love interests, one killer

Beyond Jeff, two original characters can be pursued. The gender-neutral protagonist keeps the player's role open, and different paths can shift the balance among survival, attraction, suspicion, and dark comedy.

How to play

  1. Press Play in the player above to launch the Ren'Py web build inside the browser.
  2. Read every line. Jeff's affection score reacts to tone as much as to content, and Easy Mode reveals which answers move it up.
  3. Save before major decisions. There are 9 endings and most routes diverge on a single choice, so you can branch from a save without replaying the opening.
  4. Re-read your bad endings. Fear Me is at its sharpest when you know what you said before the bad choice, and what you could have said instead.
